Mark Robert Camanzind

Mark Robert Camenzind, of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the age of 66. Cherished son of Donna and Jerome Camenzind; devoted father of Jason (Suzanne “Suzy”) Camenzind; beloved longtime partner to Paola; loving grandfather of Kaden and Mila; dear brother of Sherrie Camenzind, Steve (Barb) Camenzind, Mike (Glenda) Camenzind, Doug Camenzind, and Chris (Karen) Camenzind; treasured uncle, friend, and cousin to many.

Mark was a larger-than-life presence in every sense of the word. A big man with an even bigger heart, his unmistakable voice and contagious laugh could fill a room. He was always smiling, loved having fun, and would do anything for the people he loved.

Mark spent 54 years working at his family’s company, Arctic Ice, carrying on a family legacy and remaining dedicated to his work throughout his life.

He loved hunting, the outdoors, good food, traveling, and Rock & Roll—especially Ozzy Osbourne. He treasured time at his property along the Black River in rural Missouri and had a special connection to Ecuador, where a family property became much more than a place to visit. He built lasting friendships there and considered many of the people he met family.

Mark loved exploring new places, trying different foods, meeting people, laughing, and simply enjoying life. He also cherished meaningful heart-to-heart conversations and had a calming presence that made people feel comfortable around him.

Above all, Mark will be remembered for the way he loved—big, wholeheartedly, and without hesitation. His presence, laughter, generosity, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Memorials may be made in Mark's name to the American Heart Association.
