There are many ways in which to celebrate a life, a Service Celebrant’s mission is to create a personalized funeral or memorial ceremony that reflects the wishes, beliefs, cultural background and values (religious or non-religious) of your loved one and your family.
What does a celebrant do?
- Meet with the family to learn about the loved one’s life, hobbies, beliefs, and memories
- Write a completely customized service
- Coordinate music, readings, speakers, and symbolic elements
- Lead the ceremony and guide guests through the experience
- Create a tone that fits the family’s wishes (traditional, spiritual, non-religious, celebratory, etc.)
Funeral Celebrants are Ceremony specialists who have a sound background in the history of ritual ceremony and funeral traditions in many cultures and religions.
