Richard "Rick" Randall Etling

Richard “Rick” Randall Etling, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026, at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Jacquelyn Etling; cherished son of David Etling, Sr. and the late Donna Etling, and son-in-law of Ken Pinkley; devoted father of Tyler (Laura) Etling, and Kelsey Etling; dear brother of David (Lisa) Etling, Jr.; precious uncle of Jennifer (Jason) Cummins, Kyle (Lara) Etling, Nick Schulte, and Karissa Abrolat, and great-uncle of Harland Cummins, Havannah Cummins, Kade Etling, and Lainey Etling.

Rick dedicated his life to his family, taking immense pride in his children and cherishing his wife of more than 32 years, Jackie. Rick was a true sports enthusiast who enjoyed coaching baseball, basketball, and softball and sharing his love of sports with his children. He was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Cardinals, Missouri Tigers, and Saint Louis Billikens fan. Known affectionately as a “gentle giant,” Rick was a kind man who never met a stranger. He shared an especially close bond with his brother, who was not only family but a best friend. His faith in Christ was central to his life, and he enjoyed serving in youth groups and teaching Sunday school. He loved traveling, exploring new places, spending time outdoors with his family and friends, and enjoying the company of his cherished pets. Rick was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family requests all who attend services to wear their favorite sports jersey in honor of Rick.
