I am sure you have heard this before, but feel the need to share with you how the Baue Team had an impact on a very difficult time in my life and my family’s. My Father passed away on February 12th. I was out of the country and had just seen him before I left. We do not know the cause of his death but it was unexpected and sudden. As you can imagine, being out of the country and not being able to be with him and then coming home to make arrangements for his funeral was devastating. We have always been very close.

The funeral director, with their gentle voice and caring manner made the appointment to make arrangements much less stressful. Their guidance was appreciated during this time. When we arrived to my father’s visitation on Sunday, I knew I would be seeing my father for the first time since he passed as well as the last. The Baue Team Members were there with an abundance of kindness to usher me and my siblings. We had shared with them that father had a love for Christmas that he instilled in us as well. My Mom died in 2015. My Father has not allowed us to take down his Christmas tree since she passed. He loved how the glowing lights made him feel. To our surprise, Baue had placed a small tree with lights and ornaments made of condolences from friends and family on your website near his casket. Somehow it made us feel more at peace that evening. When the priest could not attend to provide a short service at Jefferson Barracks, our funeral director was there to help us say goodbye. They read the poem, “ The Dash” by Linda Ellis which I will carry with me as a meaningful lesson as to how to live life. I’m not sure why they chose this particular poem but it was spot on for all of us.

I believe that the Baue staff has a gift and a calling to do the work they do.

Baue is making a difference in people’s lives through their compassionate and caring staff.

I lost my husband suddenly and though he had made many preparations for his death, prearranged funeral services was not one of them. My daughter and I met with Dustin Livengood and he made the process easier than I ever could have dreamed. As with many families, this pandemic has changed things drastically making large open to the public services scary. Dustin helped us put together a private service that worked beautifully for us. The day of the service, Milton Schaper was our director as Dustin had another service. Milt was wonderful throughout the morning as well. With the bitter cold weather we were given the option of doing the graveside service at the mortuary saving all of the family members the drive on treacherous roads and standing in the cold. With Milt’s guidance, the service went beautifully. I couldn’t ask for a more compassionate group of people than the ones I encountered at Baue. I thank you so very much.

They say “unusual times call for unusual measures”. I want to commend Baue and the staff for making the very best out of our situation. A family member had tested positive for COVID-19 preventing us from having a beautiful traditional viewing and funeral. The Baue team worked with us and provided the best solution possible under the circumstances. Thank you for going far above and beyond.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for the wonderful care you gave to my dad, John B. Coker, and our family. Courtney was so genuine and empathetic. she listened so carefully and took every effort to make us comfortable and to be sure we were taken care of. She knew my dad’s favorite drink was Snapple. On the day of the service she had lots of bottles of Snapple iced down for our family to share one last one with my dad. That caring gesture brought a tear to my eye. She went that extra step to let us know she cared and that everything would be ok. Thank you Courtney for making my dad’s day a good one!

Yesterday a young cousin was put to rest. Owen Reifsteck. Such a tragic accident. Having the ability to see the truckers convoy/parade at the service was awesome. The Baue staff has always accommodated their clients needs, but in this crazy, weird time this was amazing! Although we weren’t not allowed to attend, we know that the family was extremely moved. Thank you Baue staff! You are the reason that Baue is the best!! Respectfully, Kathy

Want to thank Baue Funeral Home with all this covid 19 we were not able to attend my nephews funeral so instead we contacted Baue and they allowed us to meet in the parking lot and escort Owen to his final place and my family is in construction. They allowed a few dump trucks to be in the procession. We also had a drive by at the funeral home with 48 dump trucks from people that wanted to do something for our family god bless them. Baue went far and beyond to accommodate all this I want to take this time to thank with all my heart for letting this happen.Baue allowed us to make a sad time into a beautiful send off to my nephew. God bless u Baue and thank you from all my family

I recently lost my wife to a long terrible illness. I went to Baue not knowing exactly what to do. They did an excellent job of putting my thoughts into something meaningful and beautiful. Because of my wife’s circumstances, we went with a closed casket service. But, I wanted to view my wife privately one last time before the graveside service just to make sure that everything was as I had asked. I dreaded that viewing knowing the toll that her illness had taken on her. When I went into that room alone and looked at my wife she was breathtakingly beautiful. I don’t know how they did it, but they did an absolutely remarkable job. Everything and I mean Everything was absolutely perfect. I was so relieved and happy. I must have thank them 10 times that day. I also did not know anyone who I could ask to say something at the graveside service as I am not a religious person, but Baue recommended a person that turned out to be beyond perfect. He knew exactly what to say and combined just the right amount of religion and life. I could not say enough good things about him after the service was over. He was an incredible person! It could not have been a more beautiful service. Thank You Baue for all that you did for my family. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to express how well you handled our funeral. I would also like to say that the “Tree of Live” ceremony was an absolutely perfect touch to end the service. Everyone in the family just loved the coins and the thought behind them. Thank You again!! Bob Davis

My family worked with Baue twice in the last two years as we said goodbye to our father and mother. The service received was exceptional. The staff was professional, caring, competent, and efficient. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you, Baue!

My wife, Marie, lost her Mom, last week and I had the opportunity to see firsthand how the entire Baue employee team members made us feel special during our loss. Words cannot express our gratitude for Milton, Pam, Kasey, and John Baue to soften the blow of Marie’s loss and their unwavering support towards my wife. I was additionally touched by Kasey and Pam’s attendance at the church service as Marie is an employee. This shows the support of the management staff towards their employees of this great organization.
Milton’s professionalism and compassion during out experience was very evident that helped prepare the casket for burial for the burial. It was performed in a superbly dignified manner.
It says on Baue’s website “You will always have the most beautiful and comfortable atmosphere for your visitation and ceremony”. This was very evident.
Thank you again.

The staff at Baue have been truly amazing helping us honor our loved one. I also highly recommend the grief services available at Baue. If you haven’t met Teddy Baue, please do. He is their comfort and grief support dog. My family had the pleasure of meeting him at seeds of hope. What a wonderful blessing to all of us!

Our family is very pleased with Baue ar the handling of our son’s cremation. They were very professional and caring. The young lady that worked with us through the whole process was very kind and caring. I can say nothing bad about Baue.
