Wilma Jo Schnare (nee Noles), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Ronnie C. Schnare; cherished daughter of the late Marillian and Taylor Hermann Noles, Sr.; devoted mother of Nancy Bauer, and Kathy (William Reid) Schnare; loving grandmother of Zoe Bauer, McCaully Bauer, and Benjamen Bauer; dear sister of Rich (Anita) Richardsen, the late Taylor (Bonnie) Noles, Jr., and the late Dorothy (Bob) Brown.

Wilma Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family above all else. She shared 38 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Ronnie. She was a talented music teacher and organist, and a longtime member of the adult choir at Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed genealogy and traveled throughout the country researching her family history, as well as traveling around the world with her family. She was an avid reader and took great pride in the two exchange students she hosted, Leena Himanen and Roger Meyer, later enjoying the opportunity to visit them in their home countries. A graduate of SEMO and a longtime member of Alpha Delta Pi, Wilma Jo will be remembered for her love of family, music, learning, and travel. Wilma Jo was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
