Wilma E. Rehm Cierpiot

Wilma Elizabeth Rehm Cierpiot, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born as Wilma Bodo in New York, 1933, and moved to St. Louis in her early twenties. Wilma fell in love with Herman Rehm, got married, and had two boys, Robert and Richard. She then moved to the Overland / St. John area to raise her family. After 12 years, Wilma and Herman decided to move to the country in St. Charles County. After she survived raising her two country boys into their early twenties, she then pursued her passion as a preschool teacher and director, educating young children at Patterson Schools in St. Charles, Missouri. After Herman’s unexpected death, she met a wonderful man named Richard Cierpiot at a widows and widowers’ gathering group at Assumption Church in O’Fallon, Missouri. Richard had a kind heart and soul. Together, they formed a relationship and eventually got married. By doing so, her family grew by leaps and bounds, adding 10 stepsons and daughters, and over 20 grandchildren. Wilma and Richard loved traveling and visiting many countries over the next twenty-five years, eventually settling down to a calmer life until Richard’s passing. After Richard’s passing, Wilma concentrated her efforts on personal relationships with her friends and family by being the best friend, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and godmother she could be, until her passing.

Wilma is survived by her son, Richard Rehm; daughter’s-in-law, Anita and Melinda Rehm; sister, Elsie Milla; nieces, Stephanie Agosti and Diane Milla; nephews, Mick Milla and Mike Agosti; grandchildren, Brannon, Alyssa and Michelle Rehm, and Joe and Katie Maixner; great-grandchildren, Brayton and Kennedy Maixner; great-niece, Aimee Loveless; great-nephews, Mathew Milla and Andrew Vitale. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Rehm; niece, Elizabeth “Betty” Vitale; brother-in-law, Steve Milla; stepbrother, Stephen Dollak; and grand-niece, Amanda Milla.

Wilma will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
