Wilma Jean Golden

Wilma Jean Golden (nee Wilma J. Loness), of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Golden; cherished daughter of John and Ida Loness; devoted mother of Connie (Donald) Retzlaff; loving grandmother of Lori (Shane) McCarty, Michelle Donovan and Jen Cook; treasured great-grandmother of Shannon (Jason), Kimmy (Skyler), Chrissy, Adam (Katie), Jessie, Emma, Wyatt and Julian; great-great grandmother of nine.

Wilma was the matriarch of the family. She was very caring, helpful and independent. She was a very good cook and baker and a real expert with cars. She loved to sew for her family. In her younger days, she enjoyed being outdoors. She would often go walking, fishing, camping and loved to travel to Bennett Springs State Park.

Wilma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Wilma's name to American Cancer Society.
