Wilma Dean Badgley (nee Brandt), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Sammy Lee Badgley; devoted mother of Karen (Mike) Finnegan and Scott Badgley; loving grandmother of Samuel (Emily) Finnegan, Molly Finnegan, Kate Finnegan, and Sarah Finnegan; dear sister of Kathy Thomas and Bill Brandt; proud dog mom of Benji. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lois Brandt, and her siblings, Harold Brandt, Wayne Brandt, Jerry Brandt, Mary Helen Weitlauf, and Debbie Kirkman.
Wilma was a proud member of the Missouri Real Estate Association and a devoted member of Sunrise Church, where her faith and service touched many lives. She had a joyful spirit and loved playing bingo and attending game nights. Wilma enjoyed bringing people together, especially her beloved family and cherished grandchildren, for whom she happily planned reunions and gatherings. Wilma had a passion for travel, cheered faithfully for the St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou, and found great fulfillment in helping others find the perfect home. Known for baking a cake for everyone, making friends wherever she went, and always standing up for the underdog, Wilma lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and love. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Wilma's name to American Cancer Society.
