William Robert “Bill” Boxdorfer

William Robert “Bill” Boxdorfer, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Judie Boxdorfer; cherished son of the late Robert and Jane Boxdorfer. Devoted father of Tracee (Brandon) Salter and Rob Boxdorfer; loving grandfather of Alexis Boxdorfer, Braedon Salter, Aaliyah "Leah" Boxdorfer, and Emma Salter; fur baby, Sophie; dear brother of Marilyn (the late Chuck) Taras, and Mark (Audrey) Boxdorfer; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Bill proudly served in the United States Marines. Bill enjoyed sports, especially golf and fantasy football. He cherished all of his old and new friends. He was very social and was known for his great sense of humor. Bill was a devoted family man, and most especially loved his grandchildren. Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Bill's name to American Heart Association.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
