William Robert Bartling

(Harry) Baumer and Monica (Dave) Anderson; dear brother of Virginia Pryor; proud grandfather of Laurie Lanning, David Anderson, Sarah Schiffer and Pat Baumer; cherished great-grandfather of six; preceded in death by parents, Frederic A. and Monica H. Bartling and grandson Chris Bartling. Mr. Bartling was a civil engineer for 40 years and was employeed by Rock Island Railroad, N&J Railroad and Illinois Terminal Railroad. He proudly served in the United States Navy as Lieutenant Commander, Fighter Pilot.
