William "Will" Riley Gillespie, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the age of 28. Loving husband of Kelle Gillespie; beloved son of Gary (Laura) Gillespie and Anita (Leonardo) Avalos; cherished brother of Allen Gillespie, Daniel Gillespie, Gini Avalos, Tori Avalos, Jessica (Jerome) Hall, and Matthew Frankovic; dear son-in-law of Denni & William Brown and brother-in-law of Ryan Brown and Jake Brown; beloved grandson of Patricia Gillespie; devoted owner of his dogs Joey, Ace, and Monkey; treasured uncle of three nephews and one niece; and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather William Gillespie and grandparents Riley and Virginia Coleman.
Will coached the boy's and girl's volleyball for 4 years at Francis Howell and worked at Eureka High School. He was such a St. Louis Cardinals fan and Memphis Tigers fan that in honor of him, please wear a jersey from his favorite teams or red or blue. Volleyball players may wear school jerseys in honor of Coach Gillespie.
