William “Bill” Lawrence Lowe Jr., of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Susan Lowe; beloved son of the late William Lawrence Lowe and Leona Troutt; devoted father of Laura (Scott) Sternberg; cherished grandfather of Colin William Sternberg, and Kaden Scott Sternberg; dear brother of Albert (Patricia) Lowe, and Robert Lowe. He is preceded in death by his brother, John (Kathy) Lowe.

William proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bill spent his career working in sales as a Regional Manager at Penguin Publishing Group before retiring in 2003. He then went on to serve 15 years as a porter for SCCAD. He shared nearly 60 wonderful years with his wife, Susan, after meeting on a blind date and whirlwind engagement. His love and devotion will live on as a bright and shining light through his cherished daughter and grandsons. William had a passion for his family, genealogy, baking, cooking, watching sports, gardening and finding great restaurants including fish fry's during Lent. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in William “Bill” Lawrence Lowe Jr name to St. Luke's Heart and Vascular Institute and Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center at Washington University.
