William L. “Bill” Criss

William “Bill” L. Criss, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the age of 80 years. beloved son of the late Lloyd and Betty Mae Criss; devoted husband of 58 years of Phyllis Criss; loving father of W. Michael Criss and Joseph (Diana) Criss; treasured grandfather of Erin (Mike) Sanford, Sarah (Ryan) Montgomery, Jared Criss, and Brooke Farmer; cherished great-grandfather of Trenton, Hope, Waylon, Kristopher, and Konnor; dear brother-in-law of William Brunkhorst; dear uncle of Linda Miller and Ellen Lassiter.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Phyllis Criss, on May 17, 1959. They spent 58 loving years together. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed traveling and gardening. Most importantly, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
