William Joseph Jacobsen, 72, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1953.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Sue Jacobsen (née Gaddie); his parents, Marvin and Shirley Jacobsen (née Williams); and his sister, Diana Hachmeister.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kelly (Benjamin) Claiborne and Emily (Bob) Gray; his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Brooke, Ethan, and Wyatt; his sister, Peggy Lee Liford (Kevin); his brother-in-law, William Hachmeister; his brothers-in-law, David (Carolynne) Gaddie, “Bob” (Vicki) Gaddie and Jeffrey (Diana) Gaddie; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A graduate of Normandy High School, William proudly played football during his high school years. He later earned certifications in HVAC and Electrical from Ranken Technical College. He was a hardworking maintenance professional whose talents seemed endless. Throughout his life, he built homes and room additions, repaired cars and appliances, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

William had a creative spirit and enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and above all, his faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. He also enjoyed simple pleasures, including breakfast at First Watch, meals at McDonald's, and visiting with the many friends he made over the years.

William will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous heart, quiet talents, unwavering faith, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched and in the countless things he built, repaired, and created.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William's memory to the National Kidney Foundation or to Harvester Christian Church.

William will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
