William J. Reid, age 85, of St. Charles, Missouri, August 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Beverly W. Reid; cherished son of the late Rienzi and May Reid; devoted father of Elizabeth (David) Wesloh, Sarah (Kevin) Mehegan, Ellen (Bret) Bell, Philip (Mindy) Reid, John Reid, Celia (Michael) Gillam, Andrew (Tiffany) Reid, and Mary (Lee) Buck; loving grandfather of 27; treasured great-grandfather of 15; dear great-great-grandfather of 1; and loving brother of June Hansen, Carol Diller, Mary (Edward) Wilson, and Thomas (Sandy) Reid. He was also a valued uncle, cousin, and friend.
William was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Grace Miriam Buck, and brothers, Paul, James, and Clement.
