William Leo Danchus, Jr.

William “Bill” Leo Danchus, Jr., of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Stella Louise Danchus; cherished son of the late Stella Margaret and William Leo Danchus, Sr.; devoted father of Kimberly Ann Danchus, Kelly Marie Danchus, and William Julius Danchus.

William proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. His military service was an important part of his life, and his family will always remember it with deep pride and gratitude. William retired from Teamsters Local 600 after many years of dedicated service. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. He was a good friend who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including music from the 1950s, science fiction, reading, and solving Sudoku puzzles. A true numbers person, he also enjoyed visiting the racetrack and betting on the horses. Even in his 70s, he stayed active by taking eight-mile walks around his neighborhood. He loved traveling with Stella and treasured the lifelong friendships and cherished memories he made through the Bombers Athletic Association. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children, family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to everyone whose life he touched.
