William “Bill” Countaway

William "Bill" Countaway, Sr., of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 85. Loving husband of the late Betty Lou Countaway; dear son of the late John and Aurilla Countaway; devoted father of Kathryn (Rev. Timothy) LaFave, Carolyn (Bruce) Little, Rev. William (Lynnette) Countaway, Jr., Howard Countaway, Andrew (Tiffini) Countaway, and Amy (Donald) Warren; cherished grandfather of Rachel Jeffers, Rhonda Morales, Travis LaFave, Jeremy Little, Jessica Little, Rebekah Warren, Ian Warren, and William Warren; treasured great-grandfather of 5; and dear brother of Richard Countaway and the late John Countaway. Bill was a guidance counselor for over 30 years, and then enjoyed over 20 years of retirement. He also proudly served in the US Navy. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
