William “Bill” Cissell
December 23, 1926 — November 2, 2021
William "Bill" Cissell, passed in peace Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the age of 94. Preceded in death by his son William (Bill), Jr., parents Thelma and Curtis Cissell, sister Mary Koon, brothers Art and Richard Cissell. Survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Elise (Wilcutt) Cissell, and three children, Karen Avery (Russell), Deborah Kleinschmidt (David), and Robert Cissell (Connie). Loving Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Great Uncle, and friend to many.
Bill was a tax consultant for over 50 years, a WWII veteran, an avid golfer, and bowler. He was an usher at St. Peters Church in Kirkwood for many years, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, Elks, and a lifetime member of Bogey Hills Country Club.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Cardinal Glennon, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or St. Louis University.
