Wayne Kelley

August 9, 1936 — May 15, 2020

Wayne Kelley, of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Helen Kelley; beloved son of the late Otto and Helen Kelley; devoted father of Michelle (Doug) Smith; cherished grandfather of Grant Smith; dear brother of Mary Lou Cottrell; Wayne was also proceeded in death by his siblings, Eleanor Rollins, Carol Hale, Kenneth Kelley, Roy Kelley.

Wayne worked for Ozark Airlines for 36 years before retiring in 1993 from TWA Airlines. He was a giving person who served his community. Wayne was on multiple boards for the City of Bridgeton, Bridgeton Police Department and volunteered his time for tax preparation at the Bridgeton Community Center. He was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church. Wayne loved bowling and racing of all kinds; he never missed a race on T.V. One of Wayne’s favorite things to do was to spend time with his family especially his grandson and was always known for trying to make everyone laugh. Wayne was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.




Memorials may be made in Wayne's name to Arlington United Methodist Church.
