Walter J. Watson

Walter James Watson, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Watson (nee. Lammert); cherished son of the late Walter W. and Pearl Watson; devoted father of Joyce Finneran, Nancy Watson, Thomas (Julie) Watson, James Watson, and Stephen (Traci) Watson; loving grandfather of Katie, Laura, Matthew (Haley), Erica, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Blake, and Jonathan; treasured great-grandfather of Rory; dear brother of Carol (Rich) Lueke, the late Katherine Wilkins, Evelyn Mosley, and Art Watson. 

Mr. Watson was a Sgt. in the Marine Corps during the Korean war. Following his service, he worked 37 years for McDonnell Aircraft as an Industrial Engineer. A lifetime Honor 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council No, 823 of St. Charles. Walter was a member of St. Peters Parish for over fifty years and a Eucharistic Minister. Also, an active member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Peters Parish of St. Charles. Our dear Father-in-law, Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. 

Walter was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Walter's name to St. Vincent Depaul.
