Walter Thomas Diersen

Diersen, Walter Thomas, of Florissant, Missouri, died on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the age of 72.  Loving husband of the late Grace Bommarito Diersen; beloved son of the late Walter and Helen Diersen; devoted father of Craig (Michelle) Diersen and Steve (Laura Kiefer) Diersen; cherished grandfather Tara Diersen, Brendan Diersen, and Sadie Diersen; treasured great-grandfather of Anna Godwin and Emma Godwin; dear brother of Kathleen Steinger, Carol Diersen, and Michael Diersen; special companion of Marsha Young. He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Diersen. Walter enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, playing softball, golfing, bowling and spending time with his family. He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1959 to 1965.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
