Walter "Bud" Orville Stewart

Walter “Bud” Orville Stewart, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the age of 75. Cherished son of the late Orville and Anne Stewart; devoted father of Dustin (Maria) Stewart, Carrie (Brad) Coffey and Brian Stewart; loving grandfather of Tyler Stewart, Roslinmarie Stewart and Jace Coffey; dear brother of the late Bob Stewart and the late Betty Matte; cherished friend and family to many.

Bud was a cherished member of the St. Charles Amateur Radio Club and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his goofy personality, and his ability to bring smiles to people’s faces. He had a kind heart and a passion for amateur radio, electronics, and photography.

Bud was always willing to help others and enjoyed teaching and sharing his knowledge. He treasured spending time with his friends and was happiest when surrounded by the people he cared about. He also always enjoyed a great meal and the simple pleasure of good food and good company.

Above all, Bud loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, fellow club members, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, laughter, friendship, and joyful spirit will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bud's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
