Wallace Gassei

Gassei, Wallace K., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Mary L. Gassei NEE: Cook; beloved son of the late Steve and Mary Ann Gassei; devoted father of Mary Sue Scott, Marilyn Jane (Gary) Thompson and Lucy Ann (Dan) Crown; cherished grandfather of Shaun (Amanda) Scott, Renee Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson and Matthew Crown. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Wallace is preceded in death by his brother, Russell Gassei. He was employed as an Industrial Artist at McDonnell Douglas for 33 years. Wallace was a U.S. Army Veteran WWII, POW, recipient of a Purple Heart and 4 Bronze Stars and Bronze Star Medal, a former member of VFW and an Auxillary Police Officer.
