Virginia F. “Jenny” Basile

Virginia F. “Jenny” Basile (nee: Gambino), of Florissant and St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Basile; cherished daughter of the late Vincent and Concetta Gambino; devoted mother of Janet "Jan" (Richard) Johanningmeier, Gerald "Jerry" (Betty) Basile, Virginia M. "Ginger" Basile, Rosemary "Rosie" (Ralph) Caples, and Margaret "Marge" Pont; and loving grandmother of Lynn Kuckelman-Peters, Thomas Johanningmeier, Keri Bell, Jim Basile, Pamela Schmitt, Anthony Valenti, Michael Valenti, Jennifer Wells, Paul Pont, Jeremy Pont, and the late Paula Basile. Jenny was also a loving great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Lena Zamboni, Frank Gambino, and Joseph Gambino.
