Block, Virginia C., (nee: Busen) of O'Fallon, MO., died on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the age of 88. Loving wife of James R. 'Jim' Block; beloved daughter of the late Floyd and Anna Busen; devoted mother of David (Carla) Block, Theresa (Bret) Tesson, Phillip (Mandy) Block, Christina (Alan) Konecnik, Rebecca (Ross) Bullington, and Daniel (Shawnee) Block; cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Zachary, Lauren, Catherine, Lee, Allison, Addie, Hannah, Rachel, Christian, Ian, Aaron, Emily, Madison, and Rachel; treasured great-grandmother of Drew, Annie, and Eli. She is preceded in death by her siblings Robert Busen and Marie Busen.
Virginia was a member of Assumption Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed bicycling, hiking, skiing and being outdoors, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
