Virgil Oscar Gravemann, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Louise Gravemann; beloved son of the late William and Verna Gravemann; devoted father of Brenda (Mark) Henning; cherished grandfather of Jeffrey (Brittany) Cummins, Lindsey (Tim) West, and Jake (Alyse) Henning; treasured great-grandfather of Connor, Nolan, Avery, and Chloe; dear brother of Delores Mallinckrodt and Kenny (Louell) Gravemann; and is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Gravemann and sister, Ruth Ell.
Virgil proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a carpenter and member of Carpenters Local #32 and a longtime member of Frieden's United Church of Christ. Virgil loved working on his garden and he always had the most beautiful flowers. He and his wife, Louise, enjoyed traveling together and spending time at their condo at Lake of the Ozarks where he spent his time fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Virgil was a selfless man, always thoughtful and very giving to those that needed his help. Virgil was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dementia Society of America.
