Lewis, Virgil M., of Saint Louis, MO, on Saturday January 30, 2016, at the age of 92. Beloved son of the late Doris L. and Nora M. Lewis. He is preceded in death by siblings, Verna Street, Verda McKnight, Verl Lewis, Vern "Bob" Lewis, Vester "Speck" Lewis, and Jimmie Lewis. Virgil is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Virgil proudly served his county in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
