Creech, Vincil D., of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou (nee: Burkemper) Creech; cherished son of the late Alvie and Kate Creech; devoted father of Janet (Kevin) Dalton and Jeffrey Creech; loving grandfather of Jacquelynn Dalton, Megan Hollandsworth, Tyler Hollandsworth, Lauren Sheldon, Wyatt Dalton, Clayton Dalton, Kristen (Jacob) Meyers, Josh Creech, and Veronica Creech; treasured great-grandfather of Emma Kate Hollandsworth; dear brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Vincil was also preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Creech, and his brothers: James Curtis Creech, Alvie Hillary Creech, and Virgil Creech.
Vincil proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was proud to be a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus SC #823. He was also a former baseball coach for the St. Charles Junior Baseball Association and then the American Legion in Portage De Sioux. Vincil’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or the American Heart Association.
