Vincent D. Mcmenamy

Memorials may be made to St. John's Hospice, All Saints Catholic Church Building Fund, Parkinson's Foundation, or Masses. McMenamy, Vincent D., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the age of 82. Dear son of the late Michael and Ann McMenamy; loving brother of the late Chris, Kevin, Bernard, Xavier, and Michael McMenamy, Jr., and two sisters, Madeline Prinster and Regina McMenamy; beloved uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend. He was employed as a Merchant Marine for 20 years. A graduate of Kings Point Merchant Academy-Kings Point, NY, he became Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer for Tidewater Associated Oil Company. During that time he was aboard the tanker Robert E. Hopkins. Mr. McMenamy served in the Army during the Korean War, and also attended officer's school and became a Second Leutenant. In later years, he was employed by EMC where he worked for the St. Charles Treatment Plant, in St. Charles, MO. He was a 50 year member of the American Legion Post #313 of St. Peters, MO, a life member of VFW Post #5077 of O'Fallon, MO, a member of All Saints Catholic Church, and an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus Council #1587 of St. Peters, MO.
