Memorials may be given to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House. Survived by his wife, Maxine G. Bethel; children, Cathy Colbert, Sandy Hicks, David Bethel and step-daughter, Kim Schaub; grandchildren, Mike, Amanda and Dustin and one great-grandson, Patrick. Also survived by sisters, Bonnie Price and Delores Sellenschuetter. Preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Clara Bethel; two sisters, Velma Hachtemeyer and Sally Colbert, and one brother, Don Bethel.
