Velvarosa Houston

Houston, Velvarose A., of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the age of 88. Loving wife of Ross Houston; dear daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline Peters; devoted mother of Charmaine (Steve) Horton, Sonie Mumma, and step-mother of Daryl (Cathy) Thrasher, Kent (Marilyn) Houston, Roger (Melinda) Houston, and Beth (Tom) Moore. She was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. Mrs. Houston was a Bookkeeper at Arch Coal Inc. for 20 years before she retired and was a member of the Dardenne Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
