Urban Clarence Naeger, of Fenton, MO, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Virginia "Angie" Angeline (nee Isenman) Naeger; cherished son of the late Bernard John and Anna Marie (nee Eckenfels) Naeger; devoted father of Lynn Marie (Dane) Robbins; father-in-law of Roxann Naeger; loving grandfather of Magdalene "Maggie" Naeger, Josephine "Josie" Naeger, Lucia "Lucie" Naeger, Nathan Robbins, and Jake Robbins; dear brother of Lucille (Robert) Joggerst; brother-in-law of Lillian (Richard) Boyer and Charles (the late Pat) Isenman; beloved uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. Urban is also preceded in death by his son, Darrell Alan Naeger, his two brothers, Glennon (the late Adele) Naeger and Herman (the late Betty) Naeger, and his sister, Catherine (the late Clarence) Grieshaber.
Urban was a proud member of the National Guard and the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 1. He volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul for many years and retired from French Gerleman Electric Company after more than 40 years of dedicated service. A HAM radio operator and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Urban was born and raised on a farm in Zell, Missouri. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and found great joy in supporting his children and grandchildren, especially by attending their sporting events. Urban was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
