Trudy Hamilton

Trudy Clare Hamilton (nee Barthels), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Husband, Brian Hamilton; cherished daughter of the late June and Richard “Dick” Barthels; dear sister of Mary McKeirnan, Joe (Karla) McKeirnan, Chuck (Tammy) McKeirnan, Denise Herren, Donna Castle, Kathy Helfer, Craig Barthels, and Ralph Barthels; loving aunt of Jolie (John) Niland, Danielle (Ryan) Baker, Kendal McKeirnan, Tyler Roman, Grace Herren, Emily Herren, and Christian Majewski; great-aunt of Jack Niland and Kennedy Baker. Trudy is preceded in death by her niece, Kaitlin McKeirnan, and her brother, Gary Barthels.

Trudy was married to her beloved husband, Brian, for 18 wonderful years. A dedicated professional, she worked with numerous nonprofit organizations and served on the boards of Marion Middle School and Midtown Community Services. Trudy valued education deeply; she completed 15 years of Catholic schooling and earned her master’s degree in communications and marketing from Webster University. Known for her vibrant personality, she was a social butterfly who loved organizing events to bring friends and family together. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and was devoted to her loved ones. Trudy lived by the motto, “Remember, something incredibly wonderful is always possible,” a reflection of the optimism and warmth she brought to everyone around her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
