More About Tim:
Tim was born on October 30, 1964, in East St. Louis to Roger and Mary Deppe. He spent most of his life in St. Charles, Missouri. Tim and Roger shared many of Tim’s formative years traveling, making memories, and playing lots of sports. In 1976, Roger married Audrey, who became a wonderful mother to Tim, blending two families into one. Through this marriage, Tim gained five siblings: Amy Boyd, Chris Boyd, Mark Boyd, David Boyd, and Emily Boyd. Going from no siblings to five was a joyful experience that Tim often spoke about, and all would agree there was an instant bond filled with love.
Tim attended St. Charles High School, graduating in 1983. He was an all-state kicker and part of the 1982 Class 4A Football State Championship team. He went on to play football for a year at Mizzou before returning to St. Charles and entering the workforce. Tim was a hard worker and took pride in everything he accomplished. His family is especially grateful for Waste Connections, where Tim spent the last 10+ years of his career. His company and colleagues were incredibly supportive during his battle with cancer, and the family is deeply thankful for them.
Anyone who knew Tim understood how much he cherished his family. He married his beloved wife, Susan, on September 2, 1990. They shared 35 years together and raised three beautiful children: Erin Deppe, Andrew Deppe (wife Shelby Schlie), and Adelaide Deppe. Tim made every effort to coach, cheer on, and be present for his children’s activities. He was also a proud new grandpa to Mary Susan Deppe, daughter of Andrew and Shelby.
Tim loved traveling, one of his favorite trips being to England, where he attended a Manchester United game. He enjoyed trying new restaurants, grilling, and sharing a good glass of red wine. His children fondly remember family dinners followed by games around the table. Tim and Susan were blessed with many wonderful friends, too many to name, and could not imagine their lives without them. To those who have supported them in every season of life, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
For those who had the privilege of knowing Tim, the family would love to hear your stories and fond memories. They hope you will celebrate his life, remember the joyful moments, and perhaps share a glass of red wine in his honor.
The family is thankful for the time they had with him and takes great comfort in the promise that their Redeemer lives. Tim now has eternal life in heaven, and they look forward to seeing him again.
Cheers.
