Thomas “Tom” Uhlis

Thomas A. “Tom” Uhlis, Sr. of O'Fallon, Missouri, on Wednesday January 3, 2018, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of 44 years to Connie Uhlis; cherished son of the late Robert and Lila Uhlis; devoted father of Nichole (Chris) Orbin, Sgt.Tommy (Kelly) Uhlis, and Kyle (Elisa) Uhlis; loving grandfather of Kylie, Ashlan, Rocco, Paxton, Paige, Quinn and Carter; dear brother of the late Cynthia Kay “Cindy” Asquith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brother and sister-in-laws.
Tom pursued a rewarding career in television where he was a senior editor for multiple major networks where he covered many major events over the years. He was awarded four Emmy’s as a result of his passion and dedication to his work. Most of all he loved his family, and enjoyed watching his sons play soccer. His witty humor will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. Tom was dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all his family and friends.
