Thomas J. McIntyre, Jr.

Thomas Joseph McIntyre, Jr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 40 years to Marilyn McIntyre; cherished son of the late Thomas Sr., and Myrtle McIntyre; devoted father of Matt (Kristin) Scheppers; loving grandfather of Alex and Avery Scheppers; dear brother of Ellen (Mike Sr.) Smythe; treasured uncle of Mike (Deanna) Smythe; great-uncle of Mason and Landon Smythe; Thomas is also survived by his wife's siblings, Harold Gentges, Carolyn (Russ) Hackmann, Debbie Nilges, Randy Gentges, Lisa Spicer, Kurt (Karen) Gentges and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom began his relationship building career in the late 1970s. His career started in the printing industry and continued with Cadillac car sales, and most recently The Big 550 KTRS. Tom held past board positions and is a current member of the St. Charles Goodfellas and the Missouri Kids organizations. He had a way of building deep connections with anyone he met personally and professionally. Those relationships became lasting friendships.

Tom will be remembered as a talented artist with a creative spirit, a master of the perfect Dad joke, an excellent host who always knew how to make others feel welcome. He had a deep love for dogs, an enduring passion for sports especially golf and cheering on the St. Louis Blues. He was the best champion for his grandchildren and their sports activities. He was known for his loyalty, kindness, and generous heart. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and a proud grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's honor can be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter or the donor's choice.
