Thomas “Tom” Darryl Kluesner of “beautiful downtown” Dutzow, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Erna Kluesner and brother Ronnie Kluesner of St. Charles, MO. He is survived by his beloved wife Cathy Kluesner, daughter Kelly (Erin) Wooldridge of O’Fallon, MO, son Tim (Sara) Kluesner of Jackson, MO, daughter Tina Kluesner of Washington, MO, grandchildren Madison, Brendan, and Hayden Wooldridge, Noah and Maddox Kluesner, brothers Larry (Betty) Kluesner of St. Charles, MO, Terry (Susan) Kluesner of Sherman, TX, and Danny (Barb) Kluesner of St. Charles, MO, honorary daughter Vicki Bean of Union, MO, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, watching sports and old westerns on TV, telling jokes and stories, reading, and traveling. He, along with his wife, cherished taking each grandkid on an individual vacation to anywhere in the world when they reached age 13. His fondest memories included growing up milking cows on the family farm, growing watermelons, coaching softball, celebrating Thanksgiving with the entire family, many poker games, and sitting in the front row to watch Shania Twain perform. He never knew a stranger; anyone he met would leave the conversation as a new friend. Tom had a successful career in agricultural nutrition, working for MoorMan’s/ADM Alliance Nutrition for over 40 years, during which time his customers became some of his closest friends. He loved helping people and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him, whether it was as Tommy, Tommy Boy, Big Tom, Kluener, Papa or Papa Bear.
