Thomas and Carole Comer

Comer, Thomas P., Age 73, and Carole (nee: Parker), Age 71, of Bridgeton, MO, were welcomed into the loving arms of Christ on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Devoted parents of Linda (Burton) Campbell, Molly (Kirk) Heppe, Amy (Jon Anderhalter) Comer, the late John Comer and the late Rebecca Kelleher; cherished grandparents of Micah Kelleher, Clark (Brianna) Campbell, Kayla Campbell, Connor Campbell, Caroline Heppe, Patrick Comer, and Allison Heppe; dear brother of Mary Ann (the late Stephen) Martin and the late Fr. John Comer, and sister of Robert (Karen) Parker.  Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Comer (nee: Buckley).  Carole is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Parker (nee: Jacoby).

Tom will be remembered as a kind, caring, and gentle person. He was a brilliant engineer who designed aircraft for NASA, McDonnell Douglas, and Boeing for many years.  Tom was proud of his Irish heritage, and he had a great sense of humor.

Carole was a very resilient person who never complained, and always remained positive during her health issues.  Most of all, Carole enjoyed church, reading, shopping, and having tea with friends.  Her laughter was contagious.
