Ted M. Atwell

Theodore "Ted" M. Atwell, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 68. Cherished son of the late George and Virginia Atwell; devoted father of Jason (Patricia) Atwell, Steven (Lauren) Atwell, Christopher (Rebecca) Atwell, and Melissa Atwell; loving grandfather of Jacob, Spencer, Sofia, Sawyer, Aiden, Liam, Willow, Jesse, Christopher, Jr., Marlee, Ellie, and Cristian; dear brother of Louise Nihart, the late Thomas Atwell, Mary Lou Atwell, and Mary Ann Godwin, and brother-in-law of Marla Atwell; treasured uncle of Jennifer Nihart. Ted is also survived by the mother of his children, Connie Atwell, and his significant other, Doris Smith.

Ted was a dedicated business owner and true entrepreneur who took great pride in his work. Over the years, he owned and operated small businesses, including lawn mower repair shops and a bait shop, where his strong work ethic and commitment to quality were evident in everything he did. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and repairing small engines, always embracing adventure and the satisfaction of fixing things with his own hands. Ted was known not only for his skills, but also for his willingness to help others- never hesitating to lend a hand when someone was in need. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Ted's name to the Missouri Council of the Blind.
