Thelma M. Brower

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or SSM Hospice. Thelma M. (nee: Holsapple) Brower, formerly of Corning, Kansas, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Robert Brower; dear daughter of the late Frank and Dora Holsapple; devoted mother of Don Brower, Charles Brower, daughter-in-law Wanda Brower, and the late Dennis Lyle Brower; cherished grandmother of Abbey Brower, April Brower, Stephanie Shiers, Charles Brower II, Tara Fontenot, and Robert Brower; treasured great-grandmother of Calissa Scronce, Matson Shiers, Charles W. Brower III, Cora Mae Brower, Aidan Brower, Sadie, Darian, Audrey, and Preslie Fontenot. Thelma is also survived by her niece Kay Rethman and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Glen and Urban Holsapple and her sister Evelyn Alexander. Thelma was a Librarian at Peoria Heights Public Library for 22 years. She was a member of Ladies' Auxiliary VFW, and Women's Fellowship Peoria Heights Congregational Church.
