Terry Lynn Bolen

Terry Lynne Bolen (nee Boyet), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Garry W. Bolen; cherished daughter of the late Louis "Shimmy" and Lois Boyet; devoted mother of Kristy (Bryan ) Dietz, Deena Wisdom, Joel (Brandi) Jones; stepmother of Debbie (Tony) Hastings and Doug (Linda ) Bolen; loving grandmother of Ashley, Nicolas, Zachary, Marissa, Jamison, Abigail, Lukas, Carlie, Mia, Katie, and Lindsay; great-grandmother of Dylan, Mason, Ashley, Hank, Wyatt, and Rosemarie. Terry is preceded in death by her daughter, Sayla Wisdom.

Terry was a true people-person who never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She believed in spreading love wherever she went, often wearing her favorite ball cap emblazoned with the word "LOVE" and proudly saying she was "spreading the love." Terry shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Garry, whom she met in 1985, married in 1995, and shared 41 wonderful years together. In her younger years, she enjoyed staying active through fitness, and later discovered a passion for crafting, creating beautiful handmade jewelry and heartfelt greeting cards. She cherished Christmas and treasured every opportunity to gather with family. Terry also loved camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors surrounded by nature. In quieter moments, she enjoyed reading and faithfully watching her favorite soap operas, even recording them whenever she was away so she would never miss an episode. Terry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Memorials may be made in Terry's name to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Diabetes Association.
