Teresa E. Thomas

Thomas, Teresa E. (nee: Vitale) of O’Fallon, Missouri, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the age of 91. Beloved sister of August Vitale, Emanuel (Shirley) Vitale, and Joseph (Jenny) Vitale; and dear sister-in-law of Mary Vitale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Teresa is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas; her parents, Anthony and Augustine Vitale; her siblings, Grace Simon, Damian Vitale, Frank Vitale, and Anthony “Tony” Vitale; and her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph Simon, Georgette Vitale, Mildred Vitale, and Marge Vitale.

Teresa was a forklift operator for Lever Brothers soap manufacturing for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed going to lunch, once a month, with her friends and former co-workers, watching old, Turner Classic movies, and spending time with her family. She was a sweet and generous lady who will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew her.
