Sylvia Claire Roberts (nee Schmitt), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 81. Devoted mother of Michael (the late Cindy) Steitz and Madonna (Christopher) Smith; cherished grandmother of Andrew Steitz, Timothy Steitz, and Tyler Steitz; dear sister Francis Schmitt and Rosemary Lane. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Roberts; parents, John and Irene Schmitt; brother, William Schmitt; and sister, Elizabeth Williams.
Memorials may be made in Sylvia's honor to ASPCA, Humane Society of Missouri, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
