Suzanne Louise Hughett

Suzanne Louise Hughett (nee Loyet), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Clay Hughett; cherished daughter of the late Nelson and Dorothy Loyet; devoted mother of Andy (Lynn) Hughett, the late Clay Hughett, and the late Robin Schnare; mother in law of Ronnie (Karen) Schnare, and Sue Hughett; loving grandmother of Julie (Yousef) Prosman, Nick (Beth) Hughett, Katie Hughett, Carolyn Hughett, Jake (Caitlin) Schnare, Brett (Lindsay) Schnare, and Adam (Colleen) Schnare; treasured great grandmother of Ethan, Elijah, Olivia, and Imogen Hughett, Brooke Shaw, Emersyn, Oscar, Maya, Easton, and Caidence Schnare, and Peyton Orf; dear sister of the late Tom Loyet.

Suzanne's unwavering devotion to family was unparalleled. Renowned for her legendary baking skills, she ensured that homemade bread graced the family table every evening. As a young girl, Suzanne loved morel mushroom hunting with her family. Whether engaged in a spirited game of Bridge or any card game, she found joy in shared moments of play. Her faith as a Christian was central to her life. Suzanne's warm presence and affectionate nature endeared her to many, and her passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

Memorials may be made in Suzanne 's name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
