Suzanne Bond (nee Cook), of Lake Ozark, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the age of 80. Loving wife of William Bond, Sr; beloved daughter of the late Arthur Cook and Ruth (Gale) Saterlee; devoted mother of Steve (Lisa) Mann, Craig (Libby) Mann, Christine Martinez, William (Fiancé Crystal Lemuz) Bond, Jr. and Cheri Bond; and cherished grandmother and aunt to many. She is also survived by her sister Sheila Milezko. She was preceded in death by her siblings James Cook, Sharon Rutherford, Sandra Tatum and Clark Cook.
Suzanne married her beloved husband William Bond Sr. on September 23, 1971. She loved to travel and to watch her St. Louis Cardinals. She also loved to shop and was an excellent poker player. Suzanne lived in St. Louis, MO, Houston, TX, Orlando, FL, and Lake of the Ozarks. Suzanne sold real estate in St. Louis and Houston, worked for the Darden Restaurants, Olive Garden in Florida and St. Louis. After Suzanne “retired” and moved to Lake of the Ozarks she went on to work for Applebee’s. Suzanne was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Special thanks for the hospice care from Lake Regional Hospital, especially nurses April & Laura, bathing nurses, Virginia, Lucinda & April who kept her so comfortable, and Chaplain Derry Gibson who provided words of comfort to the family.
We also thank Four Season Realty owners Mary and Peggy Albers and Fred Ross and all of their employees for having our meals provided during this sad time.
