Susan Ann (née Garcia) Lowe, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Lawrence Lowe, Jr.; her devoted parents, Milton Eugene Garcia and Alvina Anna (née Flowers) Garcia.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Laura Marie (Scott) Sternberg; loving grandma of Colin William Sternberg and Kaden Scott Sternberg.

Susan was the devoted wife of Bill Lowe, with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. She worked as an Executive Assistant for the U.S. Army and proudly served as an Avon Representative for 22 years. Susan was the backbone of her family, known for her intelligence, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her intelligence, determination, and steady strength shaped every part of her life, and her accomplishments reflected the pride she took in caring for her family. She also found joy in creating beauty around her, especially through ceramics, gardening, and home decorating; everything she touched reflected her creativity and eye for detail.

Above all, Susan cherished her family, embracing every moment spent together with gratitude and love. She was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Susan’s name to St. Luke’s Heart and Vascular Institute or the Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center at Washington University.

For those that are planning to attend the service at Jefferson Barrack National Cemetery in honor of Susan, please meet the staff of Baue funeral home and Susan's family at the Sylvan Springs Parking Lot located on Sheridan Road by 10:45am. The entrance is on the left side of the street across from Jefferson Barrack. (look for a large Gravel Parking Lot).
