Stella Zita Morrison

Morrison, Stella Zita (nee: Baudendistel), 98, Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Friday, April 29, 2011. Stella was born to Moritz and Caroline Baudendistel November 29, 1912 in Perryville, MO. She was the youngest of six children. She later married Norval “Jack” Morrison in 1940 and celebrated over 50 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack and her parents. Also by her sisters, Frances (Edward) Giesler, Etta (Gid) Giesler, Bertha (Herbert) Sutterer, Edith (Chalmers) Tucker, and her brother Emmett Baudendistel. Stella is survived by her sister-in-laws Carmen Woelfle and Lee Morrison; along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews. Stella resided at Parkside Retirement Community where she was active in the Red Hatters. She was also a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a past member of Our Lady’s Sodality. In lieu of flowers, remembrance may be made in Stella’s name to the Association of the Miraculous Medal, P.O. Box 8000, Perryville, MO 63375, or the St. Vincent DePaul Society at All Saints Catholic Church.
