Stanley Marion Demny

Stanley Marion Demny, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the age of 83. He is survived by his companion, best friend, and loving wife of 64 years, Beverly C. Demny. Stan is the cherished son of the late Agnes and Stanley M. Demny, Sr.; devoted father of Debra Lee (Mark) Geil, Jan Marie Demny, the late Scott Matthew Demny, and bonus daughter, Robin Farmer; loving grandfather of 7; precious great-grandfather of 10; and dear brother of Marian Grzeskowiak.  

Stan was a devout catholic and man of God. He was a caring and kindhearted. He was always willing to help anyone in need and asked for nothing in return. He would do anything he put his mind to and never gave up. Stan was a constant provider for his family and a hard worker. He owned and operated Stan-D Auto Services for 35 years in Berkley and St. Charles. After retiring and selling his business, he embarked on a new path in Sporting Goods at Wal-Mart for another 15 years. In his free time, you would find Stan in the outdoors often in his vegetable garden, often sharing his tomato bounty, fishing or hunting. 

Referred to as Daddy by his children and PaPa by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he held his family very near to his heart. He and Beverly shared many fond family memories together. Stanley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
