Ermeling, Stan, of Saint Peters, MO, died on Monday, September 5, 2016, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of almost 39 years to Karen Ermeling; cherished son of the late Vernon and Ellen Mae Ermeling; loving father of Brent (Sara) Ermeling and Bradley (Jessica) Ermeling; loving grandfather of Sydney, Tessa, Ella, Owen, and Nora; treasured son-in-law of Rose Cox; dear brother of Ronald (Ginger) Ermeling, Peggy Cowell, Wayne (Pam) Ermeling, and Jayne (Marvin) Brown. Stan is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.
Stan was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harold Cox, and he and Karen’s lost angel.
Stan worked for MoDot for 39 years. He was a 4th generation member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MO. Stan was a history buff and was particularly interested in family genealogy. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching classic movies and golfing. Stan’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
