Silas L. Coonrod, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the age of 82. Loving husband of 61 years to Dorothy M. Coonrod (nee: Dennis); dear son of the late Loran C. and Lucille Coonrod; devoted father of Greg (Marsha) Coonrod and Doug (Donna) Coonrod; cherished grandfather of Megan Coonrod, Molly (Mike) Krejci, Maureen Coonrod, and Loran Coonrod; dear brother of Audrey Robinson, Barb Martin, Connie Baldwin, and the late Pat Anderson.
Silas was a Pipefitter and a lifetime member of the Pipefitters Local #562. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
